• 9th - Opening day for staff
• 10th - First day of school for students

September

• 5th - Labor Day Holiday - No School
• 19th - 30th - Fall testing window
• 28th - 1 hour early dismissal

October

• 7th - EKEA Day - no school
• 26th - 1 hour early dismissal

November

• 8th - Election Day - No School; Teacher PD Day
• 23rd - No school
• 24th - Thanksgiving Holiday - No school
• 25th - No school

December

• 20th - Last day of school before Winter Break
• 23rd - Christmas Holiday
• 21st - 30th - Winter Break - No school

January

• 2nd - PD or Makeup Day **
• 3rd - Classes resume
• 16th - Martin Luther King Holiday

February

• 20th - PD or Makeup Day **
• 29th - 1 hour early dismissal

March

• 6th - 20th - ACT Testing Window
• 16th - PD or Makeup Day **
• 21st - 1 hour early dismissal

April

• 2nd - 6th - Spring Break - No school

May

• April 24th - May 11th - Spring Testing Window (last 14 days of school - subject to change)
• 11th - TENTATIVE last day for students - dismiss 3 hours early
• 14th - Closing day for staff (or Makeup Day)
• 22nd - Primary Election day - cannot be used as makeup
• 15th - 30th - Makeup Days
• 28th - Memorial Day Holiday (will not be used as makeup)

**If school is cancelled prior to Winter Break, school WILL be in session on 1-2-12.  If we have not cancelled prior to the break, then school will NOT be in session on 1-2-12.  February 20th & March 16th are also floating makeup days.  If we have not cancelled school prior to those dates, then school will NOT be in session.
